We highly recommend private lessons as a way to really improve playing skills and to develop technique in an individualized way. Lessons are valuable to challenge more advanced students, as well as helping students who might need more reinforcement of the skills taught in class. Private lessons are taught both after school and during orchestra class in some cases. Lessons in our area range from $15-25, and are generally taught for one half-hour per week. Please consider having your child participate in private lessons this year, to help them reach their maximum potential on their instrument.
