Fifth Grade Orchestra Class Schedule 2024-2025

Each Fifth Grade Orchestra student has orchestra class three times per week; twice each week from 8:00-8:45am at the Jr High, and once each week at approximately 1:00pm at their elementary building. 

Each class is 45 minutes long, and occurs weekly using the following schedule (2024-2025):
Transportation is automatically provided from the Jr High back to each elementary school after the 8am classes.

Bauerwood:  Tue 1:00@BW,  Wed 8:00@JH,  Fri 8:00@JH
Rosewood:  Mon 8:00@JH,  Wed 8:00@JH,  Fri 1:00@RW
Bursley:  Mon 8:00@JH,  Wed 1:00@BU,  Fri 8:00@JH
El Puente:  Mon 8:00@JH,  Wed 11:25@EP,  Fri 8:00@JH
Pinewood:  Mon 8:00@JH,  Wed 8:00@JH,  Thur 1:00@PW
Sandy Hill:  Mon 12:40@SH,  Wed 8:00@JH,  Fri 8:00@JH

Cancelled Morning Classes

*When JPS is not in session, there will be no orchestra classes.
*When JPS has a half-day, the afternoon classes will not meet.
*When JPS has a 2-hour delay, the 8am orchestra class is CANCELLED for that morning.

Important Dates for 2024-2025 5th Grade Orchestra:
Wed Sep 4 - 5th Grade Orchestra classes begin! (follow the normal weekly schedule, no Mon or Tue classes this week)
Mon, Dec 2 - All 5th Grade Orchestra members attend the 8am class at the JCA!  (No PM class at Sandy Hill.)
Mon, Dec 2, 7:00pm in the JCA - Our First Concert! 
Fri, Dec 20 - No 5th Grade Orchestra classes
Fri Jan 24 - No 5th Grade Orchestra classes
Wed Feb 26 - No 5th Grade Orchestra classes (directors gone at District Festival)
Mon, Apr 28 - All 5th Grade Orchestra members attend the 8am class! (No PM class for Sandy Hill.)
Wed, Apr 30 - All 5th Grade Orchestra members attend the 8am class at the JCA! (No PM classes at El Puente or Bursley.)
Wed, Apr 30, 7:00pm in the JCA - String Spectacular Concert!
Fri, May 2 - No 8am Class for any 5th Graders
Fri, May 16 - Last 5th Grade Orchestra Class of the year
May 19, 21, 23 - "Bass Explorer" classes for students interested in switching to string bass
