It's time to learn about ORCHESTRA!!!
We are so glad that you are interested in joining Orchestra!
To sign up for orchestra, meet the directors, try the instruments, get sized for an instrument, and rent your own instrument, please come to one of the Orchestra Open Houses! Wed Aug 26 or Thur Aug 27, 2026 - drop by any time between 4-7pm - in the JCA lobby!
More information will be sent home with 5th Grade students during the first week of school.

Beginning orchestra instruction in Jenison is designed to be an introductory level experience into the world of stringed instruments (violin, viola, cello, and bass). Your family does not need to know anything about orchestra or music ahead of time, as we will teach you everything you need to know! We want our students to enjoy learning the basics of posture and position, note reading, ensemble playing, and music making. Classes are taught in a fun and engaging way, and your student will be excited at all of the new skills and songs they will learn very easily!
