Sixth Grade Orchestra Weekly Class Schedule 2025-2026
Each Sixth Grade Orchestra student has class three times per week; Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:00-8:45 at the Jr High, and once each week at approximately 2:00 at their elementary building.
(Transportation is automatically provided back to each elementary building after the morning classes at the JH.)
Here is the weekly schedule by building:
Bauerwood: Tue 8:00@JH, Tue 1:50@BW, Thur 8:00@JH
Rosewood: Tue 8:00@JH, Thur 8:00@JH, Fri 1:55@RW
Bursley: Tue 8:00@JH, Wed 1:55@BU, Thur 8:00@JH
El Puente: Tue 8:00@JH, Wed 10:25@EP, Thur 8:00@JH
Pinewood: Tue 8:00@JH, Thur 8:00@JH, Thur 1:50@PW
Sandy Hill: Mon 2:05@SH, Tue 8:00@JH, Thur 8:00@JH
There will be no band or orchestra class held on the morning of the first day of school. Students should report to their elementary school as usual at the beginning of the day. Morning orchestra classes for 6th Graders begin for the year on Thursday, August 21st, 2025.
If JPS has a two-hour delay, the morning orchestra class is CANCELLED.
On days that JPS is not in session, orchestra class will not meet.

For 6th Grade Orchestra students who also "double" in band on the Baritone, Trombone, or Percussion your weekly 8:00am class schedule is as follows:
Tues - Band @ HS, Thur - Orch @ JH, Fri - Band @ HS
For 6th Grade Orchestra students who also "double" in band on the Flute, Clarinet, or Trumpet, your weekly 8:00am class schedule is as follows:
Mon - Band @ HS, Tues - Orch @ JH, Wed - Band @ HS, Thur - Orch @ JH, Fri - Band @ HS
Flute, Clarinet, and Trumpet players will go to band for their 2:00 class for the month of September. After a few weeks we will inform the students when we will swap to orchestra for their 2:00 class.
